Swemiratz is an IDM/Ambient electronic music project of Aleksandar Djordjevic

"Some have periods in their lives that are not as good as they could've been. Some are simply born in the wrong place at the wrong time. For me, and millions like me - almost a decade was lost to a futile and magnificently stupid civil war that killed mostly the innocent, destroyed the spirit of the place I was born in, and left everyone bitter, angry and poor or sent to exile.

The events forced millions to look for a new home, as far away from the hell our old one has become. It made us all go on a migration, to the unknown.

I compiled these tracks and released them for the first time in 2003. We made a video for "Ponekad se Nadjem Tamo". We charted on one TV station in the country, and then I migrated and left it all behind.

Although made in 2003, this album was uploaded to SoundCloud in 2018 for archive purposes as much as your sonic pleasure.
